Today my car went from a plain jane race car, to a nice simple design of beauty. first my lovely girlfriend and my dad worked as a team to put the numbers on it but then my dad suprised me with this blue, puma looking logo design for the sides of the car. I really liked it since the last two cars have been plain white with red or blue numbers. Start testing Thrusday and Friday

Well its been a long time since I have writen anything and so much has happened in that time. This past week was the best ever. I found out where I'm going to be working when I move to North Carolina and I found out where I'm going to be living when I move there. I going to be working in the same race shop where my late models are which is cool because I can get payed and learn at the sametime. I had high hopes about working in that shop from the beginning but never really thought that Tom would hire me. My living situation is the best possible thing for me. My dads old friend Jimmy Pervis has 2 spare bedrooms that are always free to family. He says I'm like family so I can stay there as long as I want. I don't have to pay rent or anything like that, I just have to help out with the food and stuff like that. We were down there this past weekend to bring my seat to the shop so they could fit it in the car for me. I was told that I should have no problem going right to the front with this group of guys behind me. Should be exciting! We start testing March 5!

monday night leagues

We ran the first of six races at Willy D's Indoor Kart Track this last Monday. I didn't race though because the owners asked me to run the race and make sure everything went right. It was quite hard to keep track who led what lap, who ran the fastest lap of the night and where everybody was supposed to line up. It was pretty cool to watch people that actually know how to race race each other. They followed the rules, raced clean and they made my job pretty easy. Another thing I broke the track record last Friday. It was 18.94 seconds, it now stands at 18.75. So I don't have to prove anything anymore on that track.

welcome

Hi, welcome to the Brit Andersen Motorsports blog. I'm Brit Andersen and today is the first entry on this blog. Through out the year I will be telling you about everything that goes on in the world of racing. I will tell everything that happens on a race weekend and everything that leads up to the race.

Well in the off season there is not that much to do except race go-karts for fun with your buddies. Last Thursday night I was in Mooresville, North Carolina and Joey Logano, Cory LaJoie and myself all went to The Pit, which is a new go-kart place that was sick. The track was fast, the racing was fun and it was a little hard to keep up with the Busch East Champ becuase he has been going there before its been open to the public so he knows the track well.
